This blog had a pretty uneventful start recently. Mainly because I’ve been as sick as I’ve ever been for the past week. It’s not a fun experience as you can imagine. It’s hard concentrate on what you’re doing even when you’re doing nothing at all. Imagine trying to form your thoughts on paper. It just doesn’t translate too well to quality writing. I wasn’t about to just lie in bed coughing and sniffling with a 101.4 fever however....

Editing And ‘Me’
*Image via Wikipedia* I hate it. It’s boring, tedious work, but I’d rather I do it than have someone unfamiliar with the story try it. I notice that I have switched tenses dozens of times through these fifty odd pages. A tragedy for any writer to uncover. It means that in my case I need to rewrite, not just change tense. Going from present tense to past tense makes things bland upon reading. You can’t just leave it all and hope someone finds it a good read....
